Perhaps President Trump can go to NPR HQ and proudly say Ich bin ein Berliner as should all good people who believe in the freedom of the press should say.

With emphasis on “diversity” vice war fighting you loose the support of conservative Americans who provide the bulk of today’s fighting force.

I spent 42 years in the Coast Guard. This diversity tripe really took off with the Obama administration. We had to endure indoctrination as part of our general military training and like it. I was cancelled three times in a year, by the Commandant's office, an instructor at the Academy, and a now two-star admiral for contrary views expressed publicly. I am so glad we are finally ending this crapola and even happier I'm retired.

Here is the statement by the new CEO over at NPR in regards to Uri Berliner’s post;

"We're proud to stand behind the exceptional work that our desks and shows do to cover a wide range of challenging stories," she wrote. "We believe that inclusion — among our staff, with our sourcing, and in our overall coverage — is critical to telling the nuanced stories of this country and our world."

Note that she never directly denies his allegations. And in the name of the inclusion she oh so strongly supports.........suspended him.

The jokes write themselves.

"only care about the diversity their metrics track."

Because if these are achieved, everything will magically work. That's what their religion preaches.

Anyway, recently learned what DEI really stands for, Didn't Earn It.

Safety in numbers...if sufficient numbers still exist in the services to execute "Irish Democracy".

If regular democracy isn’t doing so well, maybe it’s time to fall back on “Irish Democracy.”

QUOTE: That’s what Yale political scientist James Scott calls the passive resistance of a society that doesn’t like what its rulers are doing to it. In his book “Two Cheers for Anarchy,” he writes, “One need not have an actual conspiracy to achieve the practical effects of a conspiracy. More regimes have been brought, piecemeal, to their knees by what was once called ‘Irish Democracy,’ the silent, dogged resistance, withdrawal and truculence of millions of ordinary people, than by revolutionary vanguards or rioting mobs.” END QUOTE

Not sure enough is left of normal people to make this work iin DoD.

Someone posted on X yesterday this Orwell quote from "1984":

"It was always the women, and above all the young ones, who were the most bigoted adherents of the Party, the swallowers of slogans, the amateur spies and nosers−out of unorthodoxy."

This sort of woman is guaranteed to the Party when she is wealthy, over-credentialed, and under-educated. Insufferable.

Salamander's column today directs us all to proper domestic policy: Believe in Equal Opportunity, but REJECT Equal Outcomes!

Equal outcomes pulls cultural and economic progress, NATIONAL DEFENSE - not to mention individual sense of worth - to its lowest common denominator. It subsidizes poor individual decisions about their future and penalizes those with potential.

Any other argument is self-serving bull poop. DEI = Didn't Earn It.

Almost calling for passive resistance? Well, maybe that's all that's left to us. As an aside, we here in Hampton Roads have two NPR radio stations. One carries the usual beltway propaganda, but the other is all classical music. I support the latter. but warn the minions that if they start slipping lefty crap into the programming I will cease doing so forthwith, and likewise encourage all that I know.

One wonders, firstly, at the concern over our military’s ability to win a war. We haven’t tried to do so since 1945, so it seems odd to think that recruitment, budgets, training (including ship driving or putting out fires) and weapons systems would be devoted to that.

Secondly, and as everyone here knows, seeing that “racism” is using race as a qualifier in any decision, the only “systemic racism” in America since the 1964 CRA is Affirmative Action & its bastard child, Didn’t Earn It.
