The irony of this EO coming from a verified racist trope spewing (7/11 Indians, “Boy”, burrito incident), senile octogenarian, Caucasian (self-identified Black, Polish, Jew) who showered with his teenage daughter (her diary entry, not mine) is not lost on me.

This is pure Marxist thought. Class warfare in a different wrapper.

Shades of the CCP's Political Officers in the organizations, especially their military. Will CO's have to worry about their DEI Officer reporting them someday?

I expect that what we're going to see is a further bifurcation especially in professional 'services' like health and law. The drive of equity means a lowering of standards to get populations of equal representation. Makes me think I want an Asian or White Dr., we know that with the increase in minority representation to get equity, the Asians and Whites that get thru truly are the cream of the crop, while we always question if the bar was lowered for the others. Watch who the wealthy and well connected use for their Doctors...

It's beyond the Ken to understand why foreign nations would resist this !

Or transitioning and grooming their kids !

Why everyone in the world should live like this, and get their boosters.

Or else.

To paraphrase the last post "Does everyone see now what Russia is?"

Does everyone see what we're fighting for?

Because this is it.

Yes, it's an EO, but as we learned from the odyssey of the wretched Obama EO's and their fate in our legal system, EO's are only treated like the fluff they are when courts with guts do the right thing and hurl them out with the trash.

Biden has found his phone and pen, and now he can inflict some real damage. Is this guy the patron saint of unemployed social workers?

Seeing this in action on college and academy admissions. I am actively looking for branches and sequels because he's still waiting on a 4 year ROTC scholarship from one of the services. VMI wants him and Embry-Riddle Daytona offerred him a $22K scholarship to study engineering. That's it so far. Deferred at his Mom's alma mater (UVA) and Va Tech. I'm thinking NASA is in his future. I worked for them in Huntsville and found them to be a great organization where it doesn't matter what you look like. Perhaps our SAP (alien) programs are so good that we can afford to do this. I hope so.

One minor quibble. This is not a matter of waiting for Boomers to go away. Boomers and older are (with the exception of the doddering old fool playing POTUS) retired and mostly the loudest critics of this evil. I'm at the younger end of boomers and retired. This evil of seeing everything through a racial lens was mostly gone by time I left active duty 19 years ago.

Hear, hear. I'm one of the leading edge of the Boomers (b. May 1946) and hate everything that this administration and its Dem predecessors have done, esp. in the area of this DEI crap. Oh, and the ineffectiveness and impuissance of the Republican opposition.

The whole DEI campaign against our institutions is naught but an excuse to amass power. Money as well, yes, but in an environment where money = power, it's ultimately about power.

Two suggestions for reading material: "The Quest for Cosmic Justice," by Dr. Sowell, and "The True Believer," by Eric Hoffer. Well, four really. Go back and re-read Animal Farm and 1984 with your adult and mature eyes, and acknowledge Orwell's prescience.

The depressing part of the existence of Executive Orders is that that SCOTUS has validated at least one that is is direct conflict with the Constitution. I weep for my grandchildren.

Gee, I remember the Civil Rights era of the 1960s. Looks like the sacrifices of Chaney, Goodman, and Schwerner were all in vain.

China & Russia just need to wait us out to win. No war’s necessary. We will self-immolate.
