This is true in every service, a Gung Ho spirit.

The Leftists do not think in terms of the nation or citizens.

They despise the terms.

They think in terms of the Party and members.

DEI, CRT, LGBTQ, etc. make no sense to us, but is at the very core of what the Left is all about.

Actually, those things are symptoms, not causes. Sin sickness is the cause.

The communist is a member of a violent, evil, utopian cult of destruction. The cult denies the existence of any moral lawgiver above the State, so in their perverse worldview, anything is a legitimate tactic or strategy as long as it "advances the revolution."

Therefore, every DEI commissar lies as easily as she breathes. Never trust them. They are your enemies, a true fifth column behind our lines and gnawing away our institutions from within.

The sooner we all find our gonads and spines, and begin boldly calling these malicious swine what they are (to their faces and from the rooftops), the sooner we'll all join CDR Sal in the front ranks of the anticommunists.

Class & groups - This allows them to assign folks as victims or oppressors. Kinda like "I love humanity but I hate my neighbor."

Cohesion: 1 + 1 = 3

DEI: 1 + 1 = 0 (or worse)

Organizations serve their perceived interests as defined by their leadership. It's apparently in the interest of the progressives to break down society into class and immutable characteristic (race) blocs and demand guaranteed outcome regardless of performance. This is the diametrically opposed to cohesion, and has (IMO) no place in any institution / line of endeavor that requires teamwork and pass / fail standards (eg pilots, surgeons, military units, etc). Water finds the easy path, people (when allowed to) will do so as well. Securing votes by offering the easy path to a guaranteed outcome appeals to human nature at a less than stellar level. The easy path results in poorly performing pilots, surgeons, and military units. Poor performance can be seen as a bug in the system by some. Based upon the facts before us, poor performance is viewed as a "feature" supporting a desired outcome by others.

Good training is never easy. At times, unit cohesion is hard because of the sacrifices individuals must make for the unit to succeed in combat. It is very, very rarely not worth the sacrifices.

John Spencer is one of the leading assholes on Twitter spouting nonsense about Ukraine. He probably believes in Russian election interference. The fact that he is charged with teaching future Army officers is one of the many reasons that institution is doomed. Want to diversify the officer corps? Start with men who are actually loyal to the American nation and not to some fuzzy idea of a "rules based international order," and Soviet dictatorships.

Since I have no idea what nonsense John Spencer is supposedly spewing about Ukraine, your comment makes no sense to me. I will say, however, that if he is pushing so-called "diversity" then he needs to be cashiered.

I think Spencer was talking about differences when building teams not diversity in the DEI sense. That word has become so toxic because of the left.

Pete, I agree. I have been trying to convince people that diversity is only a four-letter word because of leftists. They only want to equate diversity with skin color/sex/sexual preference, instead of equating it with thought, background, language, skillset.

At times, it is hard for people to fit together because of personal differences, but encouraging that is what Diversity is all about. Lack of unit cohesion is deadly in war.

Cohesion comes from male bonding. That's the beginning, middle and end of the story.

i’m no linguist but i suspect that the “div-” in “diversity” and “divide” have a similar origin.

commie cadres are slyer, cunning, savvy, and more deliberate (de-liberate) than generally given credit.

DEI = Didn’t. Earn. It.

Another good pull CDR. The comment about cohesion and if you like the person was amusing. You don't have to like each other, but you damned well better be able to trust each other. Always, always strive for trust.

Speaking of John Spencer, he has a mention in this article about the Ireali/Hamas War.
