OK everyone in DC … you have your mission if you are up for it.

…but first, a reminder: anyone in the commissariat Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), or is it Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB), or is it Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging, and Accessibility (DEIBA) … so hard to keep track … tells you this is about diversity of ideas or perspectives, know that they are not just lying to you, they assume you know they are lying to you and want you to join them in the lie.

Look at what they actually do … not at what they tell you they do.

So, anyone in the DC area need something to do the second week and December?

Well, do I have a party for you. You might as well go, you’re paying for it.

Just imagine the cost of this from lost work time - though it is questionable if these people generate any actual useful work product besides justify their own existence - facilities, travel, lodging, etc.

SUMMARY: DoD is publishing this notice to announce that the following Federal Advisory Committee meeting of the Defense Advisory Committee on Diversity and Inclusion (DACODAI) will occur.

DATES: DACODAI will hold an open-to-the-public meeting--Thursday, December 14, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. (EST) and Friday, December 15, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. EST.

ADDRESSES: The in-person meeting will be held at the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Conference and Event Center, 2425 Wilson Blvd., Arlington, VA 22201. In addition, the meeting will be held via videoconference. Participant access information will be provided after registering.

Lester Lyles, The DACODAI will receive the following briefings: (1) the United States Africa Command (AFRICOM) on Diversity and Inclusion by Colonel Lynn Ray, Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer, AFRICOM (2) the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Progress by Dr. Lisa Arfaa, Director, Office for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion; and (3) the Defense Testing and Assessment Center Diversity and Inclusion Efforts by Dr. Tia Fechter. Closing remarks will be provided by the Chair, Gen. (Ret.) Lyles, and Ms. Shirley Raguindin, DACODAI DFO, will adjourn the meeting.

Friday, December 15, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. EST. The DACODAI will begin in an open session on December 15, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. EST with opening remarks by Ms. Shirley Raguindin, the DFO and the DACODAI's Chair, Gen. (Ret.) Lester Lyles. The DACODAI will vote on proposed recommendations for the Secretary of Defense. Closing remarks will be provided by the Chair, Gen. [[Page 76193]] (Ret.) Lyles, and Ms. Shirley Raguindin, DACODAI DFO, will adjourn the meeting.

Meeting Accessibility: Pursuant to 5 U.S.C. 552b and 41 CFR 102-3.140 and 102-3.150, this meeting is open to the public from 9:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. EST on December 14, 2023; and from 9:00 a.m. to 12:20 p.m. EST on December 15, 2023. The meeting will be held via videoconference. The number of participants is limited and is on a first-come basis. Written statements may be submitted at any time or in response to the stated agenda of planned meetings of the DACODAI.

All written statements shall be submitted to the DFO, Ms. Shirley Raguindin, for the DACODAI, who will ensure that the written statements are provided to the membership for their consideration. All written statements will be submitted to mailing address, 4800 Mark Center Drive, Suite 06E22, Alexandria, VA 22350. Members of the public interested in making an oral statement must submit a written statement.

If a statement is not received by Friday, December 8, 2023, it may not be provided to or considered by the DACODAI during this biannual business meeting. After reviewing the written statements, the Chair and the DFO will determine if the requesting person(s) can make an oral presentation. The DFO will review all timely submissions with the DACODAI Chair and ensure they are provided to the members of the DACODAI.

Members of the public may also email written statements to osd.mc-alex.ousd-p-r.mbx.dacodai@mail.mil. Written statements pertaining to the meeting agenda for the DACODAI's meeting on December 14, 2023, must be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. EST, Friday, December 8, 2023, to be considered by the DACODAI membership prior to its December 14, 2023 meeting.

DEI, and its cadres of enforcers, undermine the central missions of the institutions that adopt it. But nothing has made the dangers of DEI more clear than what’s happening these days on our college campuses—the places where our future leaders are nurtured.

It is there that professors are compelled to pledge fidelity to DEI in order to get hired, promoted, or tenured. (For more on this, please read John Sailer’s Free Press piece: "How DEI Is Supplanting Truth as the Mission of American Universities.”) And it is there that the hideousness of this worldview has been on full display over the past few weeks: We see students and professors, immersed not in facts, knowledge, and history, but in a dehumanizing ideology that has led them to celebrate or justify terrorism.
