While everyone was busy looking in one direction, the pronoun people were putting pods under the Coast Guard’s racks.

The USCG is now a flagship of the pronoun people.

Gender Neutral Pronouns. All military award recommendations, certificates, and citations shall incorporate gender neutral pronouns. Alternative language such as they, their, them, and themselves may be used.

The USCG seems to hate the English language as much as they loath themselves.

Oh, and don’t blame the Biden Administration. Oh, no - as you regular DivThu readers know, this rot knows no party.

Yep’r … right there in the Trump Administration.

This socio-political posturing is just that, socio-political posturing. It is anti-social, anti-intellectual, and has more than a whiff of cultural revolutionary bending of the language that Orwell would well understand.

If we elect the right leaders who in turn appoint the correct people, then with the stroke of a pen or a simple phone call, we can get back to actually speaking and writing correctly.

Just five years ago and less, as it was for hundreds of years of the modern English language, this was true.

Don’t live by lies.
