FWIW, this sort of coup de main attack is the bread and butter job for SOF and Air Assault units. If we were doing it, we would have deployed a couple of SF A teams or Delta for a covert move combined with either a heli or airborne low level jump by the Ranger Regt. see Grenada invasion where the 75th jumped on the Point Salinas Airport (with follow-up runway landings of the 82nd C-130s) and the Pearl airport seized by SEALS and the 2/8th USMC by CH-46 , CH-53
PS: there is no such weapon as the ZSU-23-3 from the video. What is shown is the likely ZSU-23-2
In addition to showing the response of the back-of-the-pack Ukrainian units, this also shows that depending on a series of high risk ops is a bad plan. Sort of like depending on a flock of high risk new systems in a new ship design.
