Storms are real. "Climate change" is a hoax. The climate is ALWAYS changing, and always will. It's been warmer in the past, and colder in the past, and humanity didn't cause either one of them. The same people who claim to be able to predict the weather in 100 years are unable to predict the weather in 10 days.
What I don't fully understand is where the German public fits in all this. Do they agree with the elites, don't care, aren't paying attention? Is there pressure on the government from its coalition partners?
Or is it like many of the "democracies" of Western Europe where the elites don't have to listen to the people unless there's a strike or riot or some such?
When a socialist government has successfully converted it's populace into wards of the State the populace simply doesn't want to hear anything that will interfere with the spigot of money and other benefits from the State. Spending money on military/security would do so.
