Hmm... let's see now?? What are recapitalizing at the same time here these days? Or maybe it would be a more manageable list if we focused on what were not recapitalizing at the moment?

I think they are interested mainly in money and power for themselves, just like the Chinese. That is why they are so easily led astray, or even purchased by the Chinese.

If they were actually interested in our Nation's security, the LCS would never have made it even as far as a thought exercise.

Perhaps there's something fundamentally wrong with America/your system of government, if you keep having corrupt politicians.

Maybe you should change it. You know, like a revolution.

Corruption is endemic to ANY government, not just ours.

As for your latter statement; it could happen. People here clutch their pearls over "A second civil war!!!" We're not gonna have another "War Against the States" but another revolution for American Liberty is certainly on the table.

I came to NE FL in the 1990s while serving in the United States Navy. I had never heard of this crane issue until now.

I visited the place back in 1972, when it was still under construction for Westinghouse. I was a nuclear engineering student at nearby U. of Florida and Westinghouse invited us for a tour as potential future employees. Afterwards we did a thorough review of the plant plans and the potential safety issues with our faculty and found it a viable and marketable product.

I've sometimes wondered what became of the place.
