Summer ends on September 21st. Don't make this worse than it already is.

The link wants me to download stuff and register. I use to be able to do all that just from the website. I guess I won't be able to listen live.

Riverside is a ligit company. We moved over to them because their software was more stable and more importantly, the audio quality is light years better then what we had at our prior provider. It also gives us the ability to have transcripts and more that - in the end - creates a better product for our listeners. It isn't that much trouble to register, costs nothing, and gives you access to the live show and the chat room. I hope you give it a try. If not, the podcast is available afterwards as it always has been. Sorry for any inconvenience

It was telling in your arctic section of midrats that Canada was not mentioned at all. My country is totally failing on being an arctic nation. We talk and talk and nothing gets done. Polar 8 Ice Breaker? Its been on the lips of PM after PM since the 1960's but nothing gets done. Our DeWolf class AOPS will give us a bit of presence in the arctic but there is little logistic support up there. Even if the Chinese do claim a pinnacle there is little our government can or will do to counter that threat.

That graphic for the RN? Well the RCN's will be worse, a lot worse.

AOR's? Our first Protecteur Class will be launched in November and will be operational by late 25. The second AOR , Preserver is ahead of schedule. If this country really wanted to contribute to the western alliance we should keep building these AOR types (10 or 12?) and station them at strategic points around the world to support Allied operations. This would help more than an under strength and under equipped battle group in Estonia.
