I think DoD is underestimating this lack of accountability on it's recruiting woes. I teach Air Force JROTC at a high school and several students and parents have mentioned this as a factor in their decision making process. Mind you these are kids predisposed to serving. It hasn't dissuaded anyone in my unit from joining yet but a few decided to go Guard/Reserve instead because of it

Where is the accountability for anything in Washington civilian or military. The covid relief plan (PPP) has been called the biggest fraud in a generation https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/justice-department/biggest-fraud-generation-looting-covid-relief-program-known-ppp-n1279664

with losses in the hundreds of billions. Has anybody resigned or lost their job over this? Why isn't this an election issue? The estimated $170 Billion to almost $500 Billion would have gone a long way to fixing our Naval woes.

The only way this will make sense is when Chairman XI presents all five of the last CNOs to come up and be awarded the Red Banner medal for their work in paving the way for Chinese victory.
