They need to come home. It’s the right thing to do.

Everywhere else we bring our people home, and in this case, the equipment is there. Compared to the amount that goes for grants to crazy non profits, this is far more worth it.

You're right, CDR. Recovering these men is the only honorable and responsible thing to do.

A promise broken. And they wonder why people won’t enlist? We are seeing a disturbing pattern.

Big Navy has more pressing priorities like hiring DIE Commissars and indulging the surgical hobbies of the pronoun people.

I wanted to say something nasty about the Navy, but instead - I've got $50 bucks I'd kick in to crowdfund something.

Just out of curiosity, why do think DIE is money well spent?

I particularly love being called a racist while watching these asswholes call math racist. Kendi and his ilk are grifters who have elevated production of dross to a high art form.

Ibram Henry Rogers is a proven fraud whose writings stoke racial division and undermine unit cohesion.

So Alex, if you have to spend money on a Kendi lecture or bringing drag queens to your local elementary school for “reading hour” which one does the woke choose?

Things like this are why I have little faith in our government leadership. The feds have been abandoning our soldiers and sailors for a century now (probably longer, but I know for certain going back to the Russian Revolution).

I bet the Kendi Krap cost the Navy more than the recovery would.

This strikes close to home - Papa Scoobs' cousin was a TBM backseater who never returned from a night strike over Formosa. For the past few years I've done some volunteer research work supporting DPAA's ongoing efforts to account for MIA servicemen from WW2 - attended my first former MIA reinternment ceremony in Hawaii last year. I've seen the goods, bads, and others of the POW/MIA "industry": https://www.9news.com/article/news/national/military-news/frederick-schrader-colorado/73-5a7b93a5-6ac1-4db5-a734-5f6e1c98cfe3

If you're looking for a good watch on Operation Highjump, check out this documentary that has superb color footage of Mariners and ski-clad Gooney Birds working down on the ice - Papa Scoobs' first fleet CO was a former enlisted NAP who did a tour flying in Antartica with VX-6.

THIS is why the Navy is in decline. They cannot keep promises made. How can they be expected to be successful in the future? If there is no integrity in the process . . . then there will be NO SUCCESS!

I travel overseas a little. In bars and restaurants, I discuss politics with my hosts. Like all countries, America does some embarrassing stuff, it gets pointed out, and I have to admit it. I would rather be proud of this. Where do I send my $50?

Having spent twenty-four years as aircrewman, flying in the P-3C, I am highly disappointed with our Navy. We got plenty of money for various social programs but not enough to bring our people home. Sad. Just the opinion of an old hermit.

My son has a STEM degree, a 4th degree black belt, and is the unicorn demographic the USN seeks for officers. They are undeserving of his service.
